Terms and Conditions:
Regarding viruses, worms, Spyware:
MC² is in no way responsible for reacquired viruses after the computer has been
cleaned or repaired. Internet surfing is a
risk taken by the user. The internet is a dangerous place in which new
viruses are released daily. This means that every site visited could potentially
be infested with viruses which automatically download to your computer. Antivirus
software only works as a defense mechanism for attacks, it cannot prevent every
virus from entering your computer.
User Responsibility: You understand
and agree that before MC² performs diagnostic repair on your computer, it is your
responsibility to back up the data, software, information, or other files stored
on your computer disks and/or drives. You acknowledge and agree that MC² shall not
be responsible under any circumstance for any loss or corruption of data and/or
software.
Adult Must Be Present: For on-site
services, a person at least 18 years of age must be present during the entire time
period services are provided. If no adult is present when the MC² agent arrives,
services will be denied and a $25 cancellation charge will be assessed.
Software/Data Backup: It is your
responsibility to back up all software and data on your computer's hard drive(s)
and/or any other storage devices before the MC² agent arrives. MC² and/or its third-party
service provider shall not be responsible at any time for any loss, alteration,
or corruption of any software, data, or files.
Best Pricing Available:
Since the neighbor next door can say he'd build you a computer for $5, it would not be possible
to match this. Also the competing service has to be equivilent to or superseed the service that would be performed by MC²,
details of each service can be provided upon request.
If MC² finds the service not be to equivilent or the pricing as impractical, MC² reserves
the right to not accept a service request. Every effort
will be made to match legitimate, valid competitors, however if a circumstance occurs where this
cannot be done, it is recommended that you use the competitor for your service.
No Initial Fee/Charge: This
applies to all situations except on-site visits. For these, there will be a
service charge depending on the travel distance MC² has to drive. This amount
will be quoted when the agreement for on-site service is accepted. See the
pricing
section for how much travel costs are.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
To the extent permitted by law, you agree that MC²’s total liability for damages
related to its remote services is limited to the total amount you pay for the remote
services, and you release MC² from liability for any indirect, incidental, special,
or consequential damages. MC² IS NOT LIABLE FOR LOSS, ALTERATION, OR CORRUPTION
OF ANY DATA OR FOR YOUR INABILITY TO USE YOUR COMPUTER EQUIPMENT OR OTHER PRODUCT.
