Until recently, this was an option MC² didn't offer - our solution was a total system restore. However, we decided that our customers should get to tell us what service they want, instead of it being the other way around. But before making this call, first lets go over some information you may find useful.

There's two reasons we've never offered this in the past:

When one or more backdoor trojan/virus has been placed on your PC, hackers now have some level of control to your computer, allowing them to steal critical system information and possibly download/execute files. The tools ran to remove the threats may not address the whole problem.
Chances are that after the infection, many critical files needed to run the computer properly have been corrupted. If usable, it's performance has probably been effected.

In the past, since we can’t guarantee that your system would be 100% secure, we never offered this service. But since we don't tell our customers how to have their systems fixed, we're now going to offer this as a possiblity. The cost is between $20-$25, and we cannot garantee this will work. If it doesn't work, you wouldn't be charged for this, we'd inform you a System Recovery/Restoration was needed. You can decide then what you'd like to do.

Also if the virus/spyware removal is successful, you will have to acknowledge that MC² fulfilled the request to the best of their abilities, however cannot be responsible for reinfection or data that was altered due to the malware.
